What I Found: Oct. 26th

We've got family coming to visit today and a house full of unpacked boxes.  Still.   I'm taking the morning off from sale-ing in an effort to get some art hung and boxes emptied .  Most items from this weeks post were thrifted.

Scheurich W. Germany Planter

Large Modernist Metal Lion Sculpture

Peach Luster Fire King Casserole

Tiki Mugs

Russian Nesting doll
So there you have it -not to bad for shopping the Thrifts this week.   Baby wearing right now makes thrift store shopping easy breezy... I know this wont always be the case and I'm taking advantage of it while I can.

Love seeing what others find? Be sure to check out, Nifty ThriftySir Thrift a LotWe Call it JunkinRemnant

    1. my "greatest find ever" dreams are now dashed as quick as they were raised. ;) It's good thing we've already found a nice spot for it in our dining room.

  3. I feel like the vintage police now, but I always appreciate when people give me new information. I hope you do too. The scheurich piece is not a planter but the base for a baker (but you could always use it as a planter, right?) https://www.google.com/search?q=scheurich+keramik+baker&client=safari&rls=en&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=WG5tUtHgF-Xq2QXJ6YG4Aw&ved=0CFMQsAQ&biw=1358&bih=696

    1. Thank you! No need to feel like the police, I very much appreciate a good intended heads up. I don't have the top portion of this, so figured it would make a great looking planter :)

  5. Great finds, that lion is so sweet. I see a lot of that peach luster in my area, but haven't bought any. Gotta cut off the collection somewhere, house getting full, ha ha. It's so pretty, though. Thanks so much for joining my We Call It Olde Link Up. New one starts tomorrow, hope to see you there. Take care - Dawn @ We Call It Junkin.com
